Aquis Park Gold Coast Turf Club and Able Video
Aquis Park/ The Gold Coast Turf Club is a vibrant entertainment epicentre, with weekly race meetings and racedays throughout the year. It is also one of the most sought after function venues on the Gold Coast. A wide range of functions and conventions are held throughout the year in the wide range of unique venues including the Winners Circle, Dome, Paradise Room, Board Room, Corporate Suites and the all new Event Centre.

Filming in a live environment as busy as the Gold Coast Turf Club is both exciting and challenging. This TVC is the result of shoots on a range of days over the past ten years Able has been providing video services to the GC Turf Club. A range of methods were used, including drones, time lapse sequences, gyro stabilisers and shoulder-mounted cameras. It was all hands on deck for the Able Video crew, who managed to capture the buzz and drama of a Gold Coast Turf Club race day.

The Prime Minister’s Cup Raceday is part of the Queensland Winter Racing Carnival and host to some of Australia’s most exciting, prestigious and time-honoured group races.

This promo video was created in preparation for the Prime Minister’s Cup being held on Anzac day in 2015. The day included live music, a fashion show and a dawn service, all of which had to be captured in this 30 second promo.
