Atlas 2 Rod Harness

The Atlas combines a comfortable padded body harness with a flexible fibreglass rod to hold a camera/rig.  These two parts work in conjunction with each other to transfer the weight of the camera/rig to the user’s core.  By eliminating the strain on the shoulders and arms, the Atlas enables longer periods of shooting with less fatigue as well as freeing up the user to focus on the more creative aspects of a shoot.  The Atlas can be used alone, attached to cameras with or without handles, or in conjunction with other stabilisers such as a gimbal system.

The 2-Rod System Middleweight Package is designed for rigs weighing 5 – 8.5 Kgs.  This can also be used as a 1-Rod configuration, which would handle rigs weighing 2.5 – 5 Kgs.  Specially-designed stainless steel fittings and endings on the flexible fiberglass rods allow them to come apart for portability, ease of travel, and easy attachment.

This system is the perfect fit for Gimbals such as the Ronin or Ronin M: the 2 rods allow for 2 points of connection, resulting in a more balanced and even weight-distribution from your arms & shoulders to your core.
